1. Who these terms are with
These terms are between you (the homeowner or occupant arranging the install) and Instant TV Mount, a same-day install crew operating from the address listed in your booking confirmation.
By replying "yes" to a quote, paying a deposit, or letting us in for a visit, you confirm you've read these terms and agree to be bound by them.
2. Snap-fixed pricing
Every quote we send is a flat figure for the work described, calculated from the photo and notes you sent. The figure in your reply is the figure on your invoice — we don't bill for surprises.
If on-site reality is meaningfully different from what we scoped from the snap (a hidden steel stud, plaster-on-lath behind drywall, a TV larger than described), we stop, explain what we've found, and offer you the choice of:
- Accepting a revised flat figure before any further work happens.
- Cancelling at no charge if you'd rather not proceed.
- Doing only the part of the job that fits the original quote.
Quotes are valid for thirty days from the date we send them.
3. Booking and arrival
A booking is confirmed when you choose a slot from those dispatch offered, and we reply confirming the date and a 90-minute arrival window. The installer texts the narrower estimate at the start of the band.
If you need to reschedule, please give us at least 4 hours' notice so we can give the slot to someone else. Inside 4 hours, we'll do our best to find a new slot but cannot always promise the same day.
4. Cancellations
You can cancel up to 4 hours before the arrival window with no charge. Inside 4 hours, a small $35 dispatch fee covers the reserved van slot. If we have already arrived and the install cannot proceed for reasons outside our control, half the quoted figure applies.
If we need to cancel — illness, road closure, supply problem — we tell you as early as possible, refund any deposit in full, and give you priority on the next available slot.
5. Payment
Payment is due by bank transfer, card or cash within seven days of the invoice (sent the same evening as the install). No deposit is required for jobs under $500; larger jobs ask a third upfront once you accept the quote.
Late payment more than thirty days after the invoice may incur statutory interest as permitted by law. We'd much rather you wrote to us than ignored a reminder.
6. Workmanship promise
Every install is covered by a twelve-month workmanship promise from the install date. If anything we did fails inside that window — the mount loosens, our cable run develops a fault, a patched cut-out cracks — we come back and put it right at no cost.
The promise does not cover the TV itself, brackets that fail through manufacturer defect (you have your own warranty), damage from building movement, or third-party modification after we leave.
7. Our responsibility
We carry public liability insurance to cover damage to your home caused by our work. If anything goes wrong, we show you, explain it, and put it right by repair, replacement, or refund.
Our total liability for any single visit is capped at the value of the work done or $5,000, whichever is greater, except where the law does not allow such a cap (death or personal injury caused by negligence, for example, is uncapped).
8. Your part
For us to do our best work, please:
- Be present (or have an adult present) for the install.
- Keep small children and pets a safe distance from the work area.
- Make sure we can reach the wall and an outlet without moving heavy furniture.
- Tell us about any unusual wall construction you already know of, before the visit.
9. Photographs we take
We sometimes take a photograph of the finished install for our own contact-sheet log. We will never use a photograph publicly without your written permission. If you'd rather we didn't take one, please tell the installer on the day and they won't.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which dispatch is registered. If we have a dispute we can't settle by conversation, it will be heard in the courts of that jurisdiction.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. The version that applies to your booking is the one in force on the date we confirmed your slot. We always tell you in writing if anything substantive changes.
